Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our senior team in Abu Dhabi. This is a critical leadership role involving the oversight of all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and multi-entity accounting operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that accurate and timely financial data is available to support high-level strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep mastery of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations, capable of managing complex audits and budgeting cycles. We are looking for a structured thinker who can provide profound financial insights while maintaining rigorous internal controls.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and meticulously review consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, and high-level financial reports.
  • Ensure absolute compliance with IFRS, UAE financial regulations, and internal accounting policies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term forecasting and detailed variance analysis.
  • Conduct internal audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure seamless annual closings.
  • Maintain flawless financial records and perform complex reconciliations across multiple accounts.
  • Manage UAE VAT filings, corporate tax compliance, and assist with strategic tax planning activities.
  • Provide data-driven financial analysis to the Management team to support critical business investments.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll compliance, EOSB calculations, and bonus provisioning.
  • Work with Engineering and operations departments to monitor project-based capital expenditure and depreciation schedules.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or corporate finance.
  • Profound knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and UAE VAT regulations.
  • Expert proficiency in advanced accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel modeling).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership communication skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to financial transparency.
  • UAE-based candidates with immediate availability are highly preferred.
