🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Finalization: Prepare, review, and finalize comprehensive financial statements, budgets, and executive management reports.
  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and complex balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  • Closing Procedures: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities with strict adherence to accuracy and deadlines.
  • Tax & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with UAE VAT laws, including accurate filing and maintaining regulatory documentation.
  • Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits by providing transparent financial records and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Operational Support: Oversee inventory accounting and cost control measures, specifically tailored for the Retail and F&B operational models.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of proven accounting experience within the UAE market.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE VAT regulations and local financial compliance standards.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Financial Modeling) and specialized accounting software.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communication for cross-departmental collaboration, and high attention to detail.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and work independently under pressure.
