Job Description:
We are currently expanding our kitchen team and are looking for motivated and dedicated culinary professionals to join our operations. We are hiring for both Commis Chef and Demi Chef positions. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and eager to thrive within a high-standard professional kitchen. You will be responsible for supporting the senior culinary team in executing diverse menus while ensuring that every dish meets our brand’s quality and presentation standards.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily preparation and execution of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times in compliance with Dubai Municipality health codes.
- Ensure all food preparation techniques adhere to the highest safety and quality guidelines.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in managing inventory and minimizing kitchen waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance needs to the Engineering team.
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Liaise with the Management regarding stock requirements and menu consistency.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department for mandatory food handler certifications and training.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a relevant certificate.
- Proven experience working in a professional restaurant or café kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of international food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Ability to perform efficiently and maintain focus in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive, “can-do” professional attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Must be currently based in the UAE or available for immediate joining in Dubai.
