Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Consumer Protection Officer to join our team in the UAE. This role is fundamental to our regulatory framework, requiring a professional who can monitor consumer protection policies and documentation for management and central bank review. You will be responsible for ensuring all interactions follow the Consumer Protection Standards issued by the CBUAE while maintaining accurate reporting structures. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Financial Compliance and a proactive approach to customer advocacy. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of consumer protection policies to meet management and regulatory goals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) consumer protection regulations across all UAE operations.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources and internal teams to handle customer concerns with full transparency and compliance.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reporting systems, and records to ensure 100% data integrity for audits.
  • Utilize digital Information Technology and Microsoft Office 365 tools to analyze compliance data and identify operational risks.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Banking, or a relevant academic discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience, preferably in exchange houses or financial services.
  • Strong background in management of compliance documentation, reporting systems, and regulatory standards.
  • Professional background in education or training regarding CBUAE Consumer Protection Standards.
  • Mandatory Arabic speaking skills; UAE Nationals are highly preferred for this role.
  • Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and analytical thinking within a team environment.
