Document Controller – High-Rise Projects | Dubai, UAE | Autolink Contracting LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Control: Oversee the complete document control lifecycle for high-rise building projects, from project initiation to final close-out.
• Technical Organization: Organize and track engineering files, technical drawings (IFC, Shop Drawings), and project correspondence with precision.
• Version & Distribution: Maintain strict version control and ensure the timely distribution of documents to consultants, site staff, and project managers.
• Workflow Coordination: Manage RFI (Request for Information) and Submittal workflows between engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Compliance & Audits: Maintain comprehensive document registers and submittal logs to ensure a clear audit trail for quality compliance.
• System Maintenance: Ensure all project data adheres to established company procedures and quality standards within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: 5 to 6 years of proven experience in construction document control, specifically with high-rise developments in the UAE.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience with Aconex or similar EDMS platforms is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of technical filing practices, document tracking systems, and industry-standard version management.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the documentation requirements for civil engineering and high-rise structural projects.
