Job Description:
The Draftsman / Draftswoman will prepare detailed technical drawings and quantity estimations for carpeting projects. This role bridges the gap between design concepts and on-site installation by developing accurate AutoCAD layouts and production plans.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity estimations and material analysis based on CAD drawings.
- Review technical drawings and specifications related to carpeting projects.
- Develop AutoCAD layouts, including carpet seaming plans and roll plans for production.
- Coordinate with the installation team to ensure plans are accurately followed on-site.
- Create production layouts and collaborate with the design team on material utilization.
- Conduct site inspections before and after installation to ensure quality compliance.
- Provide technical clarification during client meetings alongside the sales team.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar drafting role.
- Background in the carpeting or interior fit-out industry is essential.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing standards.
- Strong analytical skills for material analysis and quantity estimation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively between design and site execution teams.
