Draftsman (Structural & Architectural) – UAE | Skyline Co

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting Execution: Prepare detailed structural and architectural drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring alignment with project specifications and local regulations.
• Shop Drawings: Develop accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for site execution, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed blow-ups.
• Technical Review: Read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints to identify potential discrepancies before they reach the construction phase.
• Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to integrate structural elements with architectural aesthetics.
• Version Control: Maintain and update drawing logs, ensuring that site teams always work from the most recent “Issued for Construction” (IFC) sets.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with UAE municipality standards and civil defense requirements.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years overall experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on drafting experience in the UAE.
• Software Proficiency: Mandatory expert-level command of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or BIM is an added advantage.
• Expertise: Proven practical experience in both structural and architectural drafting.
• Joining: Must be available for immediate joining.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality work under tight project timelines with minimal supervision.
