Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Estimation cum Design Engineer to join our technical team. This role is critical for transforming technical requirements into precise designs and competitive quotations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of LV Panelboards and a strong understanding of local utility regulations to ensure project success from estimation to final testing.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze LV Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and load schedules to develop comprehensive drawings and quotations.
- Apply advanced knowledge of forms of separation for panelboards in design configurations.
- Ensure all designs and estimations comply with UAE regulatory standards including DEWA, TAQA, and FEWA.
- Coordinate and follow up on Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) in the workshop.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support the production team during the manufacturing phase.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to clarify technical specifications for accurate costing.
🔹 Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma, or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on UAE experience specifically in LV Switchgear Panelboard estimation and design.
- Proven ability to interpret complex SLDs and load schedules into workable shop drawings.
- Familiarity with the technical requirements of DEWA, TAQA, and FEWA is essential.
- Strong proficiency in design software and Management of technical workflows.
- Must be currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
