Expeditor – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Confidential Client (Oil & Gas)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Expeditor to join our operations within the Oil & Gas sector in Abu Dhabi. This role involves ensuring that all required materials, equipment, and services are delivered according to schedule, supporting smooth project execution. You will manage supplier relationships, track order progress, and maintain alignment with project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

The Expeditor will track and update purchase orders to verify they meet scheduled delivery deadlines. You will communicate proactively with suppliers and vendors to address delays, maintain detailed documentation of shipment statuses, ensure adherence to project timelines and contractual terms, and identify potential supply chain risks.

• Maintain detailed documentation covering shipment statuses, delivery timelines, and order information.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and contractual terms.
• Identify potential supply chain risks and apply preventative measures to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of hands-on expediting experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of procurement workflows and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to manage a fast-paced, deadline-driven workload.
