Job Description:
Due to ongoing growth and expansion across the Middle East, our Dubai-based Façade Access Team is seeking to appoint a technically competent Façade Access Consultant. This specialized role is ideal for professionals with a background in mechanical engineering or architecture who wish to master the niche field of façade access systems. You will be responsible for developing technical strategies for building maintenance units (BMUs) and other specialized access equipment while coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review technical designs for façade access systems and building maintenance units.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure access strategies align with architectural intent and safety standards.
- Utilize advanced design software to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for project submissions.
- Analyze architectural drawings to identify access challenges and propose innovative engineering solutions.
- Liaise with external contractors and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and records in line with international engineering codes.
- Participate in ongoing professional education and specialized training sessions provided by the firm.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding technical certifications and professional development tracking.
🔹 Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in a construction-related discipline, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture is required.
- Proven professional experience within the Middle East construction industry.
- Strong background in Façade Access Contracting, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Practical experience with Revit and 3D modelling tools is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset for complex management tasks.
- Excellent communication skills; currently residing in the UAE is preferred for immediate coordination.
- High level of IT literacy to manage digital project files and cloud-based collaboration tools.
