Finance Controller – Dubai, UAE | FLG Shipping

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Oversight: Manage end-to-end financial operations and ensure the accuracy of all general ledgers and corporate financial statements.
• Leadership: Motivate and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional accountability.
• MIS & Reporting: Design and maintain robust MIS reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support senior management decision-making.
• Banking Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for banks and financial institutions, managing credit lines and treasury functions.
• Compliance & Controls: Oversee internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT & Corporate Tax).
• Project Finance: Manage procurement-related financing and project-based financial health within the shipping sector.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: 10–15 years of solid experience in finance management or controller roles, specifically within the GCC region.
• Sector Knowledge: Proven background in Shipping, Logistics, Procurement, or project-based industries.
• Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of banking procedures in the UAE.
• Technical Mastery: High competence in ERP-driven financial reporting and complex data analysis.
• Availability: Candidates with immediate availability to join will be given priority.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; professional certifications like CA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred.
