Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Arrival & Departure: Execute seamless check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all guest data and billing information are accurate.
- Reservation Management: Manage room bookings, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s internal systems.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status, guest requests, and “ready-room” availability.
- Financial Transactions: Process cash and credit card payments securely while managing guest folios and daily billing reconciliations.
- Service Recovery: Actively listen to and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professional empathy and efficiency.
- Upselling: Promote hotel amenities, special dining offers, and room upgrades to maximize property revenue.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in a hotel front office or receptionist role is highly preferred.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera or Protel is an advantage.
- Communication: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset in the Dubai market.
- Availability: Must be an immediate joiner and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professionalism: A neat, well-groomed appearance with a positive, service-first attitude.
