Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Oversee petty cash operations, including Cash on Hand and Qashio transactions, ensuring rigorous monthly reconciliations and reporting.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and employee expense claims with high precision.
- Commercial Validation: Liaise with the Commercial Team and vendors to verify invoices against Purchase Orders (POs), delivery notes, and contracts.
- VAT Compliance: Prepare comprehensive quarterly VAT summaries for submission to the Accounts Manager in line with UAE tax regulations.
- Intercompany Accounting: Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions between EG UAE and EG KSA.
- Financial Reporting: Support monthly closing activities, maintain supplier ledgers, and resolve all payment-related queries proactively.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional discipline.
- Technical Knowledge: Practical understanding of UAE VAT laws and standard accounting principles (IFRS).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to reconcile complex accounts and validate technical commercial documentation.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and strong communication skills for vendor coordination.
- Industry Context: Familiarity with the accounting cycles of the Interior Fit-Out or Construction sector is a significant advantage.
