Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Supervision: Maintain a comprehensive overview of the company’s accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all reconciliations.
- Financial Closures: Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing monthly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Intercompany Accounting: Manage complex intercompany transactions and perform timely reconciliations across different entities.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, supporting requirements and ensuring adherence to the ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) framework.
- Asset & Tax Support: Provide technical support for fixed asset accounting and tax-related matters, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the GL function and implement modern accounting process improvements and automation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Certification: ACCA or CA qualification is mandatory (CIMA holders will also be considered).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience with strong core knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of finance systems; SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reporting accuracy and financial integrity.
- Language: Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
