Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Management: Lead the comprehensive care for inpatient neurology cases, including daily rounds, treatment planning, and discharge coordination.
- Acute Stroke Care: Provide expert intervention in acute stroke cases and emergency neurological situations, ensuring rapid and accurate clinical response.
- Clinical Evaluation: Perform detailed neurological examinations, interpret diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, EEG), and develop evidence-based management plans.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and rehabilitation teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Emergency Support: Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in the ER or ICU settings as required.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to hospital clinical protocols, infection control standards, and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Medical Degree from a recognized university; higher postgraduate training in Neurology is preferred.
- Licensing: A valid and active DHA License (General Practitioner/Registrar level) is mandatory.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience specifically in Neurology or closely related medical specialties.
- Specialized Skills: Proven competence in acute stroke care and managing emergency neurological crises.
- Hospital Context: Sound understanding of hospital admission procedures, inpatient documentation, and multidisciplinary care models.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional clinical judgment, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit.
