Job Description:
We are expanding our team and looking for passionate and skilled coffee professionals to join Solin Café in Dubai. We have four open positions across various levels of expertise: Head Barista / Shop-In-Charge, Senior Barista, and Junior Barista. These roles are ideal for individuals who are committed to quality, consistency, and the craft of specialty coffee. Whether you are a seasoned leader ready to oversee shop operations or an aspiring barista eager to grow in a high-standard environment, you will play a key role in representing our brand and delivering exceptional service. We value detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, creative café atmosphere.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee beverages following precise brewing standards and latte art techniques.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and service speed to maintain the brand’s reputation for excellence.
- Maintain total cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, espresso machines, and grinding equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming and knowledgeable café atmosphere.
- For Head Barista roles: oversee daily shop operations, manage team schedules, and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Liaise with the Management team to track inventory and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Coordinate with Human Resources for team training sessions and service quality assessments.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues to the maintenance or IT support team as needed.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality or a related field (Preferred).
- Relevant experience in the Specialty Coffee industry is highly valued.
- Deep understanding of coffee extraction, milk texturing, and manual brewing methods (V60, Chemex, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented hospitality environment.
- For leadership roles: Proven ability to lead a team and manage café operations independently.
- Enthusiastic about coffee culture and committed to continuous professional growth.
