🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Departmental Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate the teaching faculty within your subject area to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Curriculum Oversight: Plan and oversee the delivery of a rigorous curriculum that aligns with school standards and KHDA/MOE regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Regularly monitor teaching quality through lesson observations and provide constructive feedback to improve pedagogical standards.
• Academic Monitoring: Analyze student assessment data to track academic performance and implement interventions to drive student achievement.
• Staff Mentorship: Provide ongoing academic guidance, professional development, and mentoring to junior teachers and support staff.
• Strategic Coordination: Support school leadership in operational goals and ensure seamless coordination between different academic departments.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the relevant subject area. A B.Ed. or recognized teaching qualification is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in both classroom teaching and departmental leadership/supervision.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage academic teams, plan complex curricula, and execute academic monitoring frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse school environment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of assessments, data-driven instruction, and the latest educational best practices.
