Head of Early Years – Dubai, UAE | Scholars International Group

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Direct the development of the Early Years provision, ensuring all practices meet and exceed EYFS standards.
• Pre-Opening Planning: Contribute to the founding leadership team by designing learning spaces, selecting resources, and establishing operational SOPs.
• Talent Management: Lead the recruitment, induction, and continuous professional development (CPD) of a high-caliber team of Early Years educators.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor teaching and learning outcomes, implementing robust assessment frameworks to ensure high-quality student progress.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the provision is fully compliant with KHDA regulations, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety requirements.
• Community Engagement: Build strong, transparent partnerships with parents and carers to foster an inclusive and nurturing school culture.

🔹 Requirements:

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership role within an EYFS setting, either in the UK or the UAE.
• Subject Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of the EYFS framework, including recent updates and international best practices.
• Start-up Expertise: Experience in school pre-opening or premium school settings is highly preferred.
• Communication: Inspirational leadership style with the ability to communicate a clear educational vision to staff and parents.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (PGCE or NPQSL/H is an advantage).
• Personal Attributes: Genuine passion for early childhood development and a commitment to inclusive education.
