Job Description:

Dewvale School is expanding its academic leadership team and is seeking experienced, dedicated, and qualified education professionals for three pivotal roles: Head of Inclusion, English HOD, and Islamic HOD. These positions are designed for visionary leaders capable of driving departmental excellence and ensuring that our curriculum remains innovative and inclusive. You will be responsible for overseeing academic quality, mentoring staff, and maintaining full compliance with UAE educational regulatory standards. We are looking for proactive leaders who thrive in dynamic school environments and are committed to fostering an atmosphere of academic rigor and empathetic student support.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong academic leadership and strategic direction within the assigned department or inclusion unit.
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies that align with international educational standards and UAE requirements.
  • Support and mentor teaching staff to enhance classroom performance and pedagogical innovation.
  • Monitor student progress using data analytics and implement targeted improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to maintain overall academic excellence and school reputation.
  • Ensure all departmental activities are documented and reported accurately using the school’s Information Technology platforms.
  • Liaise with Human Resources for staff recruitment, performance appraisals, and professional development workshops.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, ensuring that students of determination receive high-quality, tailored educational support.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject; a Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a relevant leadership role (Head of Inclusion or HOD).
  • Deep understanding of the UAE educational standards and KHDA/MOE regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of improving teaching standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Mandatory).
  • For Islamic HOD: Proficiency in Arabic and deep knowledge of Islamic Studies curriculum is required.
  • High level of proficiency in IT tools for academic tracking and school management systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student development and inclusive education practices.
