Job Description:

We are inviting applications for a passionate Homeroom Teacher – Year 2, with an expected start date for the Third Semester beginning on 23 March 2026. The ideal candidate will be a motivated educator dedicated to inspiring young minds through structured, interactive lesson plans. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing classroom environment that supports both personal and academic growth, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential within our school’s curriculum framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum for Year 2 students.
  • Create and maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and highly organized classroom environment.
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress through regular evaluations and observation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular, professional communication with parents regarding progress.
  • Support students’ academic performance as well as their social and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance learning outcomes and share best practices.
  • Support school Management with school-wide events and academic reporting duties.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with recognized Teaching Credentials (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
  • Deep understanding of early primary child development and pedagogical best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; bilingual ability is an asset.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, adaptability, and a commitment to high teaching standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team and school community.
  • Candidates should be ready to join by the semester start date on 23 March 2026.
