Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining high workplace safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and performing internal audits to sustain our certifications. We are seeking a safety professional who possesses hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and can effectively implement and monitor health and safety management systems. This role is strictly for immediate joiners who can hit the ground running in a high-intensity industrial environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety management systems across the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure all operations remain in full compliance with UAE HSE laws, industrial regulations, and environmental frameworks.
- Lead internal audits as a certified ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and hazard identifications for engineering processes and machinery operations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team to facilitate safety induction programs and specialized technical training for staff.
- Coordinate with the Information Technology department to maintain digital safety incident logs and reporting dashboards.
- Investigate workplace accidents or near-misses and develop effective corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Provide expert technical advice to the management team regarding safety upgrades and regulatory changes.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional HSE experience within the UAE.
- At least 2 years of direct experience in the Manufacturing or Industrial sector.
- Certified ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor is a mandatory requirement.
- In-depth understanding of UAE HSE laws, Dubai Municipality safety codes, and international standards.
- Proven ability to develop safety manuals, procedures, and industrial risk registers.
- Strong analytical and communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Must be ready for immediate joining in Dubai.
