HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi, UAE

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Oversight: Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures across both onshore facilities and offshore platforms.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards before project execution.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to UAE federal safety regulations and international Oil & Gas industry standards.
• Incident Investigation: Lead thorough investigations into any site incidents or near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Training & Induction: Deliver safety inductions and specialized training sessions (Toolbox Talks) to diverse project teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency drills and maintain readiness for fire, medical, or environmental contingencies on-site.

🔹 Requirements:

• Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory for this position.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a relevant academic discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with at least 3 years specifically in an HSE Officer role.
• Sector Knowledge: Demonstrated hands-on experience in both onshore and offshore environments.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of HSE regulations, PTW (Permit to Work) systems, and industrial safety best practices.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing safety behaviors across multi-national teams.
