Job Description:
ASGC Group is currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to strengthen its Health, Safety, and Environment team in Dubai. This role is critical for ensuring that our workplace safety standards remain among the highest in the construction industry. You will be responsible for developing and monitoring safety programs across major project sites, ensuring full compliance with both local legal requirements and internal policies. We are looking for a safety-driven professional who possesses deep technical knowledge of safety regulations and has the practical site experience necessary to identify hazards and implement effective preventive strategies in a high-intensity management setting.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and consistently monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across diverse project sites.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and other local legal requirements alongside internal safety standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections, detailed risk assessments, and comprehensive safety audits to identify operational vulnerabilities.
- Propose and enforce appropriate corrective and preventive measures to mitigate potential site hazards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, including incident records, compliance logs, and management reports.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team to coordinate safety training and verify staff certifications.
- Utilize Information Technology tools for digital safety tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department to ensure safety-by-design principles are followed during project execution.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or OSHA are mandatory.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar HSE position within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and industrial best practices.
- Excellent reporting, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in IT tools for administrative safety management.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure across large-scale construction projects.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
