HSE Officer – Dubai, UAE | Quarry Mining (Steel Structure Manufacturing)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• System Implementation: Execute and monitor HSE management systems in strict accordance with UAE local regulations and internal company policies.
• Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, safety inspections, and site evaluations to identify and mitigate industrial hazards.
• Safety Culture: Deliver impactful HSE training sessions, awareness programs, and daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) to foster a safety-first mindset.
• Audit & Compliance: Lead internal audits and support external ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits to ensure international quality and safety benchmarks.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate all near-misses and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending effective preventive actions.
• Equipment Oversight: Ensure the proper selection, use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and all safety-critical machinery.

🔹 Requirements:

• Professional Experience: 3–5 years of HSE experience specifically within steel structure manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Certification: Must hold a NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of UAE Labor Laws and Dubai Municipality/Civil Defense safety regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in incident reporting, documentation, and conducting systematic safety audits.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant technical or safety-related discipline.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage workers and management effectively.
