Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Supervisor to join our team at The Palm. This role is fundamental to our service framework, requiring a professional who can oversee the hotel’s IT infrastructure and ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations for management and guest review. You will be responsible for maintaining networks, supporting various departments with technical needs, and ensuring data integrity through regular backups. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Hotel Management Systems (Opera/Micros) and proactive problem-solving. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including networks and servers, across our Dubai property.
- Provide daily technical support to all hotel departments to meet management and guest service standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and external vendors regarding system security, data integrity, and IT-related services.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner to ensure continuous business operations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and hospitality software for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Proven professional experience in a similar IT role, specifically within the hospitality sector.
- Strong background in management of hotel systems such as Opera and Micros.
- Professional background in education or training regarding networking, servers, and IT security practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
