Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to manage our core IT infrastructure and provide high-level technical troubleshooting. This role is critical for maintaining our Windows-based environment, storage solutions, and network security. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems remain secure, compliant, and optimized to support our daily shipping operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on administration and troubleshooting for Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Manage Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook configurations to ensure seamless corporate communication.
- Oversee and maintain SAN Storage solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Configure, monitor, and manage FortiGate Firewalls to protect the internal network from threats.
- Setup and manage secure VPN connections, including SSL and Site-to-Site tunnels.
- Maintain the overall IT infrastructure and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and Human Resources IT policies.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated IT Support or Systems Administration role.
- Technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewall Management and VPN configurations.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, SAN storage, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic shipping industry environment.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective technical support.
What We Offer:
- Monthly salary starting at AED 4,000 to 4,100 (based on experience).
