Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- First-Line Support: Deliver immediate technical assistance to employees and onsite users to minimize downtime.
- Diagnosis & Repair: Identify and resolve routine hardware failures, software glitches, and basic connectivity issues.
- Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain company assets including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- User Access Management: Manage user accounts, Microsoft 365/email systems, and folder access rights in line with security policies.
- Incident Management: Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolution steps, and technical documentation.
- Asset Tracking: Keep an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets and software licenses assigned to the workforce.
🔹 Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Practical proficiency in Windows 10/11, MS Office/Microsoft 365, and fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience: Prior experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role is highly advantageous.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: A logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical errors.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users in a professional and patient manner.
- Independence: Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously while working effectively under site conditions.
