Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our fast-paced corporate environment in Dubai. This role is essential for delivering high-standard technical assistance and ensuring the smooth daily operations of our organization’s digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing end-user support, managing endpoint security, and resolving complex technical issues through a systematic, customer-focused approach. We are looking for an experienced professional with a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and Windows administration who can coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive end-user support and desktop administration across the organization.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade corporate IT systems to ensure 99.9% operational uptime.
- Utilize ServiceDesk or other ITSM platforms to manage ticket lifecycles and service requests.
- Administer Active Directory, manage Group Policies, and oversee endpoint security tools.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement ITIL service delivery best practices.
- Monitor and maintain local networking components including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding IT onboarding for new employees and digital access controls.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and technical documentation using ManageEngine or similar IT tools.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in corporate IT support or helpdesk functions.
- Expertise in Windows Operating Systems, endpoint support, and Active Directory management.
- Prior experience in supporting academic institutions or universities is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of ITIL Foundation (v4) principles and service delivery frameworks.
- Proficiency in ManageEngine tools (ServiceDesk Plus, Asset Explorer, Endpoint Central).
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+ or Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator.
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills to manage management and user expectations.
