Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core corporate finance branch and are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to govern day-to-day transaction pipelines and direct financial record-keeping pathways in Abu Dhabi. Configured for systematic balance sheet builders who possess an exceptional analytical command of computerized ledgers and excel at auditing transaction entries within fast-moving enterprise settings, this full-time track focuses on accelerating book closure velocities, auditing reconciliation queues, and maximizing tax compliance indices across our integrated financial frameworks.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, balancing journals, and inputting day-to-day corporate accounting entries cleanly.
  • Process complex accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, monitoring client invoices, payments, and collections lines.
  • Perform rigorous bank statements and general ledger balance reconciliations to ensure complete numbers accuracy.
  • Prepare standard journal entries and assist senior corporate controllers with monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare complete VAT reports, file statutory documents, and ensure strict compliance with federal tax regulations.
  • Generate comprehensive, data-driven financial reports using Focus ERP and Tally software platforms systematically.
  • Assist internal and external audit teams by supplying requested documentation, record registries, and audit trails.
  • Ensure absolute operational alignment with established accounting standards, corporate financial policies, and internal controls.
  • Reconcile daily transaction logs, tracking payment vouchers, invoice registers, and banking remittance files into registries.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a strictly matching financial discipline from an accredited institution, proving an advanced conceptual command of financial reporting theory, tax framework logic, and corporate ledger mechanics.
  • Proven high-performance professional history driving general ledger administration, with 1 to 2 years of active accounting experience. Prior hands-on background within the UAE market is strongly preferred, alongside immediate baseline availability for quick workspace deployment.
  • Hands-on, mandatory technical mastery using Focus ERP and Tally accounting platforms to post entries, pull sub-ledgers, and run reports.
  • Advanced technical workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities tracking ledger entries, building financial schedules, and organizing data tables inside Microsoft Excel and MS Office suites.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
    • UAE VAT rules, Federal Tax Authority compliance regulations, corporate tax calculations, and basic filing setups.
    • Focus ERP mechanics, Tally enterprise database workflows, data input methods, and automated system parameters.
    • Financial statement preparation, bank reconciliations, ledger configurations, and day-to-day double-entry accounting operations.
  • Outstanding verbal articulation, reporting talent, and cross-functional team collaboration skills, sharp analytical problem-solving habits under compressed audit timelines, and a professional attitude under a unified corporate management framework.
