Junior Accountant – Dubai, UAE | Katrina Factory FZE

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Receive and review supplier invoices, ensuring they are processed timely and accurately within the accounting system.
• Three-Way Matching: Perform rigorous matching between Invoices, Purchase Orders (PO), and Receiving Documents (GRN) to verify quantities and pricing.
• Payment Execution: Prepare and execute vendor payments via bank transfers or cheques, ensuring alignment with agreed credit terms and cash flow availability.
• Vendor Management: Maintain the vendor master database, handle inquiries regarding payment status, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Rebate Calculation: Accurately calculate weekly and monthly rebates to ensure proper cost recovery and financial accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Post AP transactions to the general ledger, support month-end closing, and prepare Accounts Payable aging reports for management review.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Accounts Payable principles, tax calculations, and basic UAE VAT applications.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience (or willingness to learn) ERP systems and automation tools.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a professional communication style for vendor interaction.
• Mindset: Passionate about accounting with a drive to minimize manual errors and improve process turnaround times.
