Job Description:
Medoz Medical Store LLC is expanding its finance department and is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is specifically designed for early-career professionals who are eager to gain comprehensive, hands-on accounting experience within a structured healthcare environment. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations, from posting daily entries to ensuring all documentation meets our rigorous filing standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong academic background in finance and a proactive approach to learning the complexities of pharmaceutical accounting and financial management.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain highly accurate accounting records and post daily financial entries into the accounting system.
- Prepare, review, and verify payment vouchers, petty cash transactions, and daily expense records.
- Organize invoices and ensure all supporting documentation is properly filed for audit readiness.
- Assist the Management team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to assist in monthly payroll reconciliations and expense reimbursements.
- Liaise with the Information Technology department to ensure accounting software and financial databases are performing optimally.
- Ensure full compliance with internal company policies and standard international accounting procedures (IFRS).
- Provide support in the preparation of basic financial reports and analytical summaries for the senior finance team.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
- Prior experience or exposure to the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc.).
- Basic reporting skills with a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with standard accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERPs).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with precision.
- A professional and proactive personality with a desire for career growth.
