🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Entries: Record daily financial transactions and journal entries with high precision in the specialized Flotilla system.
• Invoicing: Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring all freight and logistics charges are accurately billed to clients.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and vendor reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with the operations and fleet teams to verify billing data and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist the senior finance team in preparing monthly reports and supporting audit requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial records and tax invoices.

🔹 Requirements:

• Software Mastery: Hands-on experience with Flotilla accounting software is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience specifically within the United Arab Emirates.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and reconciliation processes.
• Sector Knowledge: Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a significant advantage.
• Attributes: Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
