Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for fresh graduates looking to translate their academic knowledge into practical accounting experience. You will support the daily operations of our finance department, assisting with data entry, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a proactive attitude, ready to contribute to a busy trading environment while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professional integrity.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily recording and processing of financial transactions within the company’s ERP system.
- Support the senior finance team in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers.
- Perform basic bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of invoices against purchase orders.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Utilize MS Excel to prepare basic financial reports and data analysis for the Management team.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding employee expense claims and payroll data entry.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and procurement teams to track project-based material costs.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT-related documents and support the month-end closing process.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong foundational knowledge of general accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and general computer literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in numerical data entry.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
- Proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
- Must be available for immediate joining in Dubai.
