Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Testing: Conduct rigorous tensile, compression, bending, and hardness tests on a wide variety of construction and industrial materials.
- Chemical & Polymer Analysis: Perform detailed evaluation of polymers and coatings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Standards Adherence: Execute all laboratory procedures in strict accordance with ASTM, ISO, EN, and BS international testing standards.
- Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate testing logs, generate technical reports, and support the laboratory’s ISO 17025 quality benchmarks.
- Civil Material Testing: Analyze building materials including concrete, steel, and aggregates for structural integrity and durability.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure laboratory testing equipment is calibrated and maintained to achieve maximum precision and safety.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of international testing standards and hands-on laboratory experience.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in QC or material testing environments (UAE experience is a plus).
- Analytical Skills: Practical ability to operate mechanical testing machines and interpret complex data sets.
- Professionalism: Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to laboratory safety.
- Communication: Ability to write clear, concise technical reports and coordinate effectively with senior laboratory management.
