Job Description:
GIIS Abu Dhabi Campus is inviting applications for the position of Middle Science Teacher. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners and delivering high-quality science education. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering curiosity in scientific concepts and creating an engaging classroom atmosphere that supports academic growth. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and the ability to connect theoretical teaching with practical understanding. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons aligned with the global middle school curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, formative assessments, and creative learning materials to support student achievement.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Monitor individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with academic staff and school leadership to uphold high educational standards and shared best practices.
- Liaise with the management team regarding curriculum planning and departmental goals.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding mandatory teacher training and professional certification updates.
- Utilize Information Technology and smart-classroom tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
🔹 Requirements:
- Relevant Teaching Qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) specializing in Science.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Science-related field (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology).
- Prior experience teaching middle school students is highly preferred.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE; preference given to candidates based in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong classroom management abilities and excellent communication skills in English.
- For Indian nationals, attestation of educational documents from the home country is mandatory for teacher licensing.
- High level of proficiency in IT tools for educational purposes and digital reporting.
