Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Planning Engineer (Civil) to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our project framework, requiring a professional who can develop and manage complex project schedules for management and stakeholder review. You will be responsible for monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Main Contractor Workflows and exceptional proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project across our Dubai sites.
- Monitor project performance and prepare regular progress and status reports to meet management and client standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and site teams regarding technical staff coordination and timely execution of project activities.
- Prepare project baselines, conduct delay analysis, and implement effective mitigation strategies to handle potential bottlenecks.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and planning software for accurate forecasting and project lifecycle management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within the UAE construction sector specifically with a Main Contractor.
- Strong background in management of civil construction projects, project baselines, and progress reporting.
- Professional background in education or training regarding Primavera P6, MS Project, and delay analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work under strict project deadlines.
- Proven ability to identify project risks and coordinate effectively with diverse engineering teams.
