Written Examination Syllabus

Compulsory Subjects – 6 Papers (Total 600 Marks)

  • English Essay – 100
  • English (Precis & Composition) – 100
  • General Knowledge – 200 (Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies – Objective)
  • Islamic Studies or Ethics (for Non-Muslims) – 100
  • Urdu – 100

Optional Subjects – 3 Papers (Total 600 Marks)
Candidates must select three optional subjects (not more than one from each group) as per PPSC list.

Psychological Test & Interview

Total Marks: 300

Important Notes

  • Apply online only; offline applications will not be accepted.
  • Candidates must obtain at least 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate (600 marks) to qualify for interview.
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per MCQ wrong answer in objective papers.
  • Final merit based on written exam + psychological assessment + interview.
