Job Description:
We are currently seeking a proactive and results-oriented Procurement Officer to join our expanding team in Dubai. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our purchasing activities, ensuring that all materials and services are sourced competitively without compromising on quality. You will act as a strategic negotiator, building strong relationships with vendors while aligning procurement processes with our global company standards. This position is ideal for a procurement professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is available to support our operations during the evening shift.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily procurement activities and end-to-end sourcing processes in accordance with company policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and pricing agreements with local and international vendors.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand and fulfill specific purchasing requirements.
- Monitor supply chain timelines to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services to support business operations.
- Maintain highly accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and documentation for audit readiness.
- Liaise with the Management team to optimize cost-saving strategies and vendor performance.
- Support the Human Resources department in maintaining compliance with company-wide procurement ethics and training.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams for the technical procurement of recycling machinery and spare parts.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or professional certification in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a structured procurement function.
- Strong communication and professional negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and contract lifecycle.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
- Must be available to work a full-time evening shift schedule.
- Immediate availability to join is highly required.
- Candidates must be currently based in the UAE to be considered.
