Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a Procurement Officer to support our expanding operations in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our commercial framework, requiring a professional who can handle procurement processes from start to finish for management and site review. You will be responsible for sourcing landscaping materials, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely delivery to various project sites. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE Procurement Practices and a proactive approach to managing supplier databases. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete procurement processes for landscaping materials to meet management and project timelines.
- Identify, source, and evaluate reliable vendors within the Dubai and UAE market.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and accounts departments to verify invoices and facilitate supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate procurement tracking records and purchase orders to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to compare quotations and maintain an updated supplier database.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years of professional procurement experience specifically within the UAE.
- Strong background in management of supplier negotiations, pricing comparisons, and delivery schedules.
- Professional background in education or training regarding local construction/landscaping materials.
- Mandatory Valid UAE Driving License and current residence in Dubai.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and coordinate effectively with site engineers and project managers.
