Job Description:
We are currently expanding our team and are looking to hire a motivated and detail-focused Procurement Officer / Engineer for our Abu Dhabi operations. This role is a vital link in our project lifecycle, responsible for identifying reliable vendors and securing the best value for construction and fit-out materials. Whether you are an experienced professional or a proactive fresher with an engineering background, this role offers a platform to manage end-to-end procurement processes and contribute to the successful delivery of prestigious projects.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for construction and fit-out materials.
- Request, review, and perform detailed comparisons of quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project budgets.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) while maintaining highly accurate procurement documentation.
- Coordinate closely with the engineering and site teams to understand technical material requirements.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure the timely supply of materials and services to active project sites.
- Maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies without compromising on quality or safety standards.
- Collaborate with Management on supplier performance reviews and contract renewals.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding staff training on procurement compliance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement; however, Fresh Graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- Male candidates are preferred; an engineering background will be considered a significant added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex vendor relationships professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for cost analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a proactive work ethic.
- Immediate availability to join our Abu Dhabi office is highly preferred.
