Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer with a specialized background in gas systems to join our Dubai team. This role requires a technical expert capable of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site installation to the critical handover phase to local authorities and clients. You will serve as a key technical representative, ensuring all central gas systems meet the stringent safety codes of the UAE.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of central gas system projects, ensuring all installations meet technical drawings and specifications.
- Manage the complete project handover process to consultants, clients, and local authorities.
- Ensure all projects strictly adhere to DCD (Dubai Civil Defence) regulations and UAE safety codes.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors and consultants to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation required for ADCD/DCD approvals and inspections.
- Supervise site teams and troubleshoot technical issues during the installation phase.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and procurement departments to ensure necessary manpower and materials are available for project milestones.
🔹 Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 6 years of specialized experience in gas system installation and project handover.
- ADCD or DCD Approved Engineer status for central gas systems.
- Thorough and up-to-date understanding of DCD regulations and UAE international codes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with contractors and consultants.
- Must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates.
- A valid UAE driving license is required for site visits and coordination.
- Excellent technical reporting and project Management skills.
