Project Quantity Surveyor – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Salient Engineering Contracting LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Control: Prepare and monitor project budgets, detailed cost estimates, and comprehensive financial statements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quantity Take-offs: Perform precise measurement of quantities from drawings to develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Subcontractor Management: Review quotations, assess interim payment claims, and manage subcontractor variations to prevent budget overruns.
• Contract Administration: Ensure all project expenditures strictly adhere to the contractual terms and conditions.
• Tendering & Procurement: Support the procurement department with technical cost analysis and participate in the tendering process for new projects.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts, maintaining organized records for all change orders and variations.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and specialized quantity take-off software; familiarity with AutoCAD is a significant advantage.
• Location: Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and open to relocation within Abu Dhabi if necessary.
• Experience: Prior experience within the UAE construction market is preferred.
• Attributes: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict project deadlines with high accuracy.
• Communication: Effective coordination skills to liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients.
