QA/QC Inspector – High-Rise Projects

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector with a mandatory background in high-rise building construction within the UAE or GCC. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all construction activities—from structural formwork to final finishing—meet our rigorous quality standards and strict project specifications. You will be responsible for field inspections, documentation, and acting as a bridge between onsite execution and consultant expectations. We are looking for a technical expert who understands the complexities of vertical construction and can enforce compliance with international standards such as ASTM, BS, and ACI.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of concrete, rebar, formwork, blockwork, and finishing works at various project stages.
- Raise and manage Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain professional coordination with project consultants.
- Prepare and maintain all QA/QC documentation, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and daily quality reports.
- Ensure all site activities strictly comply with ASTM, BS, and ACI standards and local UAE regulations.
- Liaise with the Management team to report on quality trends and potential structural risks.
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department for onsite safety and quality induction training for new workers.
- Monitor the storage and handling of construction materials to ensure they meet specified quality benchmarks.
- Identify deviations from the approved drawings and specifications, ensuring immediate corrective actions are implemented.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in high-rise building construction within the UAE or GCC region.
- Deep understanding of civil engineering principles and quality control procedures.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, ITPs, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI) and Dubai Municipality/Authority regulations.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills in English.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with consultants and site supervisors.
- Immediate joiners currently based in the UAE are highly preferred.
