Job Description:
A new permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a skilled QA professional who possesses a solid technical background in Banking or FinTech environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of complex software solutions through both manual and automated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer who can seamlessly integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams to deliver zero-defect financial products. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about automation, performance testing, and maintaining the highest standards of software excellence in a regulated environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies for high-scale banking applications.
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality and rapid deployment cycles.
- Perform detailed performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Liaise with the Management team to provide technical risk assessments and test execution reports.
- Utilize Git and collaborative tools to manage version control and participate in peer code reviews.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using advanced bug-tracking and test management systems.
- Partner with Human Resources to support technical interviews and the onboarding of junior testing staff.
- Maintain high standards of documentation for all testing protocols and compliance verification.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance Engineering or Software Testing.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience working within the Banking or FinTech domains.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python for automation scripting.
- Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and PyTest for modern test execution.
- Proven experience with CI/CD integration and performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills in English to work effectively within multicultural engineering teams.
- Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
