Quality Control Engineer
About the Role:
A reputable organization in the Engineering & Construction sector is looking to bring on board a skilled Quality Control Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with solid hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Engineer will oversee project quality requirements, implement procedures, and ensure works meet required standards. Core responsibilities include managing inspection processes, material quality controls, and subcontractor compliance. You must have strong familiarity with international quality frameworks like ISO 9001 and practical understanding of engineering codes (e.g., ASME/API or established civil/structural standards).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project quality requirements, implement procedures, and ensure works meet required standards.
- Manage inspection processes, material quality controls, and subcontractor compliance.
- Ensure projects adhere to well-known engineering codes (ASME/API, civil/structural standards).
- Implement and adhere to international quality frameworks such as ISO 9001.
Requirements:
- 4 to 8 years of dedicated QA/QC experience in the UAE or GCC market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and practical understanding of engineering codes (ASME/API, etc.).
- In-depth awareness of inspection processes and material quality controls.
