Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE structural steel and fabrication market.
- Technical Consultation: Conduct client meetings and technical presentations, demonstrating the company’s fabrication and erection capabilities to consultants and contractors.
- Tendering & Proposals: Prepare and submit technical quotations and tenders in close coordination with the engineering and estimation departments.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with developers, civil contractors, and structural consultants.
- Lead Conversion: Rigorously follow up on leads to convert potential opportunities into confirmed project contracts.
- Internal Coordination: Provide technical clarifications during the project execution phase to ensure client specifications are met.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets to contribute to the group’s overall revenue growth.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Mandatory 2–4 years of UAE experience as a Sales Engineer specifically in steel construction or structural steel.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication processes, erection methodologies, and engineering concepts.
- Blueprints: High proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills tailored for a technical audience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Driver: Self-driven and target-oriented professional with a proactive approach to business development.
