Job Description:
Gulf Model School is seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary for the Arabic Department for the upcoming Academic Year. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless coordination of the department’s academic programs and curriculum requirements. You will serve as a vital link between the Arabic Department, the broader school management, and our community of parents and students. We are looking for a bilingual professional who can handle technical documentation in both Arabic and English while maintaining the high administrative standards required within a reputable education setting.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Arabic Department to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Prepare and manage academic documents, bilingual reports, and department-specific instructional materials.
- Follow up on the CBSE curriculum implementation and ensure the readiness of all teaching resources.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents in both Arabic and English.
- Coordinate with school management regarding academic programs, school events, and administrative activities.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding departmental staff records and attendance tracking.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and school management systems to maintain accurate student and departmental data.
- Ensure all departmental correspondence meets the linguistic and professional standards of the institution.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory for this bilingual role.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with an eye for detail.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with IT platforms used for school administration and data management.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural education environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prior experience in a school office or teacher support role is a significant advantage.
