Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager with solid expertise in UAE real estate accounting to join our well-established organization. This leadership role is designed for a detail-oriented finance professional capable of independently managing end-to-end accounting cycles while overseeing reporting standards and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for the finalization of accounts, VAT compliance, and implementing robust internal control systems. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong supervisory skills and a deep understanding of IFRS standards to lead our accounting team and provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete accounting cycles including monthly financial closing and finalization of departmental accounts.
- Prepare and review comprehensive MIS reports and conduct detailed financial analysis for the management team.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Handle complex accounting for real estate transactions in strict accordance with IFRS standards.
- Maintain and strengthen internal control systems while implementing financial best practices.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor accounting team members to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department for payroll finalization and employee benefits accounting.
- Utilize Information Technology systems, specifically PACT ERP, to manage digital financial records.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, ACCA, or CPA certifications are highly preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the UAE, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
- In-depth understanding of real estate accounting practices and IFRS reporting standards.
- Practical experience with PACT ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Arabic is required for diverse stakeholder interaction.
- Mandatory possession of a valid UAE driving license.
- High level of proficiency in IT tools for financial reporting and data analysis.
