Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full accounting cycle and be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will play a key part in ensuring our operations comply with the latest UAE accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can provide meaningful financial insights to the management team, handle complex reconciliations, and manage the end-to-end financial reporting process with precision and technical expertise.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, balance sheets, and detailed profit & loss reports.
- Execute VAT filing and ensure full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of all bank and intercompany accounts.
- Maintain meticulous financial records and ensure timely reporting to the Management team.
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors for year-end reviews and financial audits.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding WPS payroll compliance and staff benefits.
- Monitor cash flow and support budget planning initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience (UAE market experience is highly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, or similar enterprise accounting software.
- In-depth understanding of UAE VAT laws and standard accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in English and Hindi is required to effectively communicate with our diverse team and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
