Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in Roads and Highways to join our team in the UAE. This role is fundamental to our infrastructure framework, requiring a professional who can lead the design and development of major road projects for management and authority review. You will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, validating design calculations, and providing technical guidance to junior teams. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Civil Engineering and specific expertise in Dubai or Abu Dhabi authority regulations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex road and highway projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, and documentation to meet management and international standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and multidisciplinary project teams regarding project alignment, technical support, and timely delivery.
- Review and validate design specifications and ensure strict compliance with local authority regulations.
- Utilize advanced Information Technology and design software for modeling, calculation validation, and project coordination.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 10 to 12 years of professional experience in roads and highways design, with mandatory UAE project experience.
- Strong background in management of engineering drawings, design validation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Professional background in education or training regarding international and regional infrastructure design standards.
- Fluency in Arabic is required for effective communication with local authorities and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative engineering environment.
- Must be currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
